  • Campo Alto
We are excited to announce Campo Alto, our newest discovery and cycling home at nearly 9,000 feet above sea level in a great location on a picturesque mountain top near Nederland Colorado. This resort town just 17 miles west of Boulder is surrounded by epic mountain roads and mountain bike trails that will absolutely help develop you to your highest potential as a competitive bike racer. We are minutes from Boulder a university town with an indoor velodrome and a yearly calendar brimming with classic weekend races. Boulder is the center of American cycling boasting some of the finest riders and top pro teams in the world. Just a few miles south from Nederland Colorado on Mount Evans we have the highest paved road in North America (14,000 ft.). Riders who come to Campo Alto will have an opportunity to ride and experience the thin air of the Idaho Springs Road.

    Training
Do what the best pros do to improve just a little more. Train and sleep at a high altitude camp. We want you to have an opportunity to come and experience living at nearly 9,000 feet and training at over 12,000. Ride scores of challenging mountain bike trails that meander throughout the high mountains in pristine pine forests. Replace your brake pads, slap on a 28 tooth cog and get ready to soar skyward and dive down mountains like never before. This camp is recommended for experienced or licensed racers. You must be able to go down mountains safely at high speeds.

Throughout the summer (May to August) on Tuesdays we can drive you to participate at a midweek criterium in Golden Colorado, Thursdays we can take you to Colorado Springs for track racing and on weekends you have a choice of local, highly competitive races. You’ll be often racing against local pro and National team riders like Tom Danielson and Allison Powers. Free transportation is provided within a 25 mile radius of the camp. Each additional mile is 15 cents. We offer Coached Motor Pacing at $25 per hour. Teams up to 7 riders in size are invited to attend.

**Bring Road, time-trial or mountain bike plus all necessary equipment and basic tools. Helmets are mandatory at all times.**
